Furious Beauty: Summer 2013 Tour. Los Angeles, OC, New York. The Film Screening + Live Showcases. Getting the early word out. After my guest talk at Mt. Saint Mary’s College, I got inspired to take the film on tour & share hip-hop dance culture with new audiences. More info TBA. Versa-Style Dance Company @versastylela will have their Ford Amphitheatre show in Hollywood on Sat, Oct 5, 2013 so I hope to promote their show through this tour. And yes, the title of their show is also called Furious Beauty. That name originated from a spoken word poem by BBoy Don Sevilla, member of Soul 2 Soul BBoys & Funny Bones Crew. #dance #film #furiousbeauty #hiphop #versastyle #plixyl #plixylstudios #losangeles #nyc #orangecounty
“Here’s Part 2 of the “Furious Beauty” presentation at Mt. Saint Mary’s College, including performances by Versa-Style Next Generation & Homeland Cultural Center Dancers and a Q&A. This is a followup to the Part 1 video with my “Breaking Boundaries in Hip-Hop” guest lecture.” – director Calvin Leung
